Meet The VP of Fundraising

Hi there! I am Lauren Reid, and I am so excited to be this year’s PTA Vice President of Fundraising. I have 2 children--Madeline who is in 1 st grade, and a future Roo, Bennett. 

I grew up a Weatherford Roo and am thankful to have my children grow up as Roos too. I started PTA last year and quickly became involved. I loved getting to interact with other parents, teachers and staff, and our amazing students. 

I was the Kindergarten Room Parent grade representative, and I was on the Glow Dance committee. We have felt so welcomed by the Mary Martin family over the past year, and my goal for the year is to use PTA to continue to help the Martin Community thrive. Fundraising doesn’t have to just be about the dollars and cents 

Outside of PTA, I am a NICU Nurse! I truly have the best job there is! I serve as the Vice President for the Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. We are a Baylor Bear family (Sic’ Em Bears!), and you will often find us in Waco for various sporting events. My daughter is a competitive gymnast, so we spend a lot of time at the gym also! We love being outside, baking, traveling and are always up for adventures.
